The Klan robe and hood has never been used by Klansmen for the purpose of wrongdoing. In many of the old Christian rituals, as illustrated by the carrying of the Pastas in Spain, the hood was worn as a symbol of humility, of anonymity in doing good works. This was the conception of the hood when the Klan was ably led by General Forrest, and this is its true meaning for us in our Klan ritual - selfless dedication to our God, our nation, our race and our movement.



The blood-drop is the Klan symbol. It is composed of a white Christian cross on a red circle background with four "K's" superimposed around the cross. In the center of the cross is a drop of blood symbolizing the blood of Christ who died for our sins.



Through the centuries no symbol has better represented the white race than the blood-drop.

The name Ku Klux Klan comes from the Greek word KUKLOS, meaning circle, wheel or band. This name was chosen because in it is contained some of the unique characteristics of the White race. The wheel is certainly the best symbol of creativity; hence the creativity of the White race, and the circle is the oldest symbol of unity. KUKLOS thought about in the context simply means White Racial Brotherhood. Ku Klux was simply taken from the word KUKLOS and Klan was added.

The language of symbolism is the most beautiful, the most expressive, and the most impressive of any language known to mankind. Who can read the story of Noahs Ark without the church; or the story of the scapegoat, the brazen serpent, or the Feast of the Passover, without thinking of the Christ who takes away all our iniquities and delivers us from the bondage of sin?

In the sublime ceremonies of Klankraft, we take it that we use seven significant symbols, each of which convey and inculcate a very beautiful lesson, and emphasize a great Klan principle, when the language of symbols is properly understood. They are, in order of their importance: The Bible, the Cross, the Flag, the Sword, the Water, the Robe and the Mask.

THE BIBLE

This book divine signifies that there is a God. No sane man of reasonable intelligence can look upon this sacred volume without thinking of God as its author, righteousness as its aim, and eternal life as its end. It is a constant reminder that God is our Father, life is our opportunity, and Heaven is our home. It reveals the way of life and the cause of death. It is a lamp to our feet, a light upon our pathway, and the ONLY sure guide to right living. It is the Book of Books and reveals the ONLY TRUE GOD.

In a klavern you will always find this wonderful book open at the twelfth chapter of Romans. This is the most practical and complete chapter in the whole Bible on Christian living. It is a constant reminder of the tenets of the Christian religion, and is a Klansmans Law of Life. Every Klansman should read it the first thing every morning and endeavor to live by it during the day.I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you follow its teachings.

THE CROSS

Out of the wonderful story of the sacred pages of this old Book divine comes the sad, sweet story of Calvarys rugged but holy cross. This old cross is a symbol of sacrifice and service, and a sign of Christian religion. Sanctified and made holy nearly 19 centuries ago by the suffering and blood of the crucified Christ, bathed in the blood of 50,000,000 martyrs who did in the most holy faith, it stands in every klavern of the KU KLUX KLAN, Inc, as a constant reminder that Christ is our criterion of character and His teachings of our rule of life --- blood-bought, holy, sanctified, and sublime.

It was once a sign of ignominy, disgrace, and shame; but being bathed in the blood of the lowly Nazarene, it has been transformed into a symbol of faith, hope, and love. It inspired the crusaders of the Middle Ages in their perilous efforts to rescue the Holy Land from the heathen Turks and is today being increasing hordes of the anti-Christ, and the enemies of the principles of pure Americanism.

We have added the fire to signify that Christ is the light of the world. As the light drives away the darkness and gloom so a knowledge of the truth dispels ignorance and superstition. As fire purifies gold, silver, and precious stones, but destroys the dross, wood, hay, and stubble, so by the fire of Calvarys cross we mean to purify and cleanse our virtues by burning out our vices by the fire of His word. Who can look upon the sublime symbol, or sit in its sacred, holy light with out being inspired with a holy desire and determination to be a better man? By this sign we conquer.

THE FLAG

This old flag purchased by the blood and suffering of American heroes, represents the price paid for American liberties. It is the symbol of the Constitution of the Untied States of America, free speech, free press, free schools, freedom of worship, and all constitutional laws, both state and national.

Its red is the blood of American heroes that stained 100 battlefields. Its white symbolizes the purity of American womanhood and the sanctity of American homes. Its blue is but a patch of Americas unclouded sky, snatched from the diamond-studied canopy that bends over our native land. Its stars represent an aggregation of undefeated states bound together in an inseparable union.

It has never been trailed in the dust, trampled in the mud, or defeated in battle. It has never led a retreat or been hauled down at the command of the enemy. It was purchased by the blood and sacrifice of our fathers, and we have most sacredly vowed that we will uphold and defend it with our sacred honor, our posterity, our blood, and our lives. The KU KLUX KLAN, Inc., will forever defend the principles of pure Americanism, and thus perpetuate the sacred memory of our venerable and heroic dead.

Who can stand under these Stars and Stripes, remembering the sacred traditions that entwine about its holy past, without feeling that sublime patriotism that inspired our noble sires to die for our own, our native land?

THE SWORD

This unsheathed sword of steel is a symbol of law enforcement. It represents the military, or enforcement power of our government, from the President down to the constable. Its presence on our sacred alter signifies that we, as and organization, or solidly behind every law enforcement officer in the land to help, aid, and assist the proper performance of their legal duties. We stand unconditionally and unqualifiedly for the just and impartial enforcement of law and for the defense and protection of all rights and privileges of all citizens alike, regardless of race, color, creed, lineage, or tongue.

This sword also signifies that we are set for the defense of our flag and all that it symbolizes against the attack and people in the whole world. We believe in America for Americans, and are sworn to defend it by all justifiable means and methods from any encroachment whatever, whether it be traitors with in and enemies without.

The sword is a constant reminder of our obligation to defend our country and enforce its laws, through duly constituted authorities and justifiable means and methods. May we wield it wisely and well in defense of our country, our homes, our flag, our liberties, and humanity?

THE WATER

This God-given, powerful, life-giving fluid, more precious and far more significant than all the sacred oils of the ancients, is a symbol of the purity of life and the unity of purpose. With this divinely distilled fluid we have been dedicated and set apart, in body, in mind, in spirit, and in life to the sacred, sublime, and holy principles of Klan Kraft. In this dedicatory service we are solemnly admonished to keep our character as transparent and as clear and clean as the liquid in this glass. A drop of liquid or blood in this crystal fluid will have the same effect as sin in our lives. May we keep our liquid clear and transparent free from the sin stains of evil and wrongdoing?

As water is useful to human life, so may we, as Klansmen, be useful to humanity. As drops of water mingle and intermingle, thus becoming one solid mass, may we, as Klansmen, become so united each with the other that we will become one solid mass, or one body in Klankraft. Thus we see that water is a beautiful symbol of unity, usefulness, and purity. Who can fail to learn from these crops of water the lesson of Klannishness and of brotherhood in a common service to mankind?

THE ROBE

The distinguishing marks of a Klansman are not found in the fiber of his garments or in his social, political, or financial standing; but they are spiritual, viz, a chivalric head, a compassionate heart, a prudent tongue and a courageous will; all devoted and consecrated to our country, our homes, our Klan, and each other.

We use the robe to signify that we do not judge men by the clothes they wear and to conceal the difference in our clothing as well as our personality. There are no rich or poor, high or low, in Klankraft. As we look upon a body of Klansmen robed in white we are forcibly reminded that they are on a common level. By this means we also hope to conceal our identity, which is a sensible principle of Klankraft.

This robe is also a symbol of righteousness to be worn by the saints in the land of Yet-to-Come. The aged apostle a prisoner on the Isle of Patmos peered into the portals of the great beyond and caught a glimpse of the saints robed in white which is a sensible principle of Klankraft.

A lying scoundrel may wrap his disgraceful frame in the sacred folds of a Klansmans robe and deceive the very elect, but ONLY a Klansman possesses a Klansmans heart and a Klansmans soul. Therefore as we seek to cover here our filthy rags and imperfect lives with the robe of Klansman, may we through the grace of God and by following His Christ be able to hide the scars and stains of sin with the righteousness of Christ as we stand before His great white throne.

Who can don the white robe of a Klansman without stirring in his heart a holy desire to be found worthy to wear the white robe of the saints when he passes beyond this vale of tears?

THE MASK

It is a symbol of unselfishness. With the mask we hide our individuality and sink ourselves into the great sea of Klan Kraft. Not as individuals, but as Klansmen, We sacrifice to serve, Our motto is, Non Silba Sed Anthar --- Not for self but for others. Therefore, we hide self behind the mask that we may be unselfish in our service.

Who can look upon a multitude of white-robed Klansmen without thinking of the equality and unselfishness of that throng or white-robed saints in the Glory Land? May the God of Heaven, who looks not upon the outward appearance, but upon the heart, find every Klansmen worthy of the robe and mask that he wears? Then when we do the things we teach, and live the lives we preach, the title of Klansman will be the MOST HONORABLE TITLE AMONG MEN.

Thus with our symbols we seek to emphasize and impress the sacred, sublime, and holy principles of Klankraft, With God as our Father, Christ as our criterion, the Bible as our guide, the cross our inspiration, and the flag as our protection, we mean to march on a triumphant victory for the principles of right in the Traditional Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

During the Middle ages, a young Turkish Sultan, Mecmid the Second, controlled the Holy Land. Although the Muslim Sultan was at war with the Christian West, he allowed worshipers free passage into the holy city of Jerusalem to openly practice their different faiths. During the times of worship, and to show peaceful intentions, Christians were required to wear BLUE turbans, Jews were required to wear YELLOW turbans, and Muslims were required to wear GREEN turbans. this "color code of the faiths" survives to this day. The Confederate Battle Flag was designed as a battlefield ensign with deep religious meaning by Confederate General PGT Beauregard.

The RED field represents the Blood of Christ Jesus.

The WHITE border represents the protection of God.

The BLUE "X" represents the Christian Cross of Saint Andrew, (the first Disciple of Christ Jesus, and the Patron Saint of Scotland).

The 13 stars represent the 11 States of Secession, plus MO and KY.



Note: The state of kentucky did not offically secede from the Union, but many men from Kentucky fought for the South. The state legislature of Missouri voted for secession while in exile, and therefore was not considered as being offically seceded from the Union, but both states were represented by adding two stars to the Confederate Battle Flag.



The message in the Confederate Battle Flag is:

Through the Blood of Christ, with the protection of God, We, the Thirteen States, are United in our christian fight for Liberty.



"I salute the Confederate Flag, with affection, reverence and undying devotion to the cause for which it stands."

Some may wonder why I am writing about what it means to be a Klansman. . Anyone who has read the Kloran knows that there is little mention of racism in it. Yes, one must dedicate themselves to the defense and preservation of the White race to become a Klansman, but too many out there feel that this is ALL that it takes.

There are several books written for the edification of Klansmen. There is one in particular that I strongly recommend to readers. The Reconstruction Trilogy by Thomas Dixon Amazon has it 12.95. This book actually contains three books written by Thomas Dixon in the late 1800s. These books are called The Clansman, The Leopards Spots and The Traitor. The Clansman tells the original story of how the Clan was formed, in the form of a Novel. It was the basis of the old movie, Birth of a Nation which inspired the late President Woodrow Wilson to praise the original Klan as the saviors of the south. The Traitor tells the story of events which led to the eventual disbanding of the original order by Nathan Forrest. Although the founders of the Klan were moral, Christian men, there were those who took up the robe and hood, to use it for their own selfish gain. In the beginning, the Klan had the support of the community, but the founders knew that the criminal element, which had infiltrated, had the potential to change all this.

The purpose of this missive is not to teach Klan history. There are many writings out there for this purpose. I pointed out the above truths because I feel that every Klansman has to answer the question in his/her own heart, whether they are a Klansman, which falls in the first category or the second. Are they a REAL Klansman, or someone who uses the name to spread ignorance and further selfish ambitions? The Kloran tells us that a Klansman is not found in his garments, but in his heart!

What does this mean? The answer is found in Klan ceremonies and symbols. I cannot go into too much detail here, if this missive is to be made available to the general public, but there is no need to.

We all know that lighting the Cross signifies that Christ is the light of the world. But isn't there more to it then that? It all begins with Klansmen passing the fire from torch to torch, asking each brother/sister what he/she intends to do with this light. They then all light the cross together, and surrounding the cross, hold their arms out to their sides, making themselves into the shape of the cross. In Matt.5:14, Christ said Ye are the light of the World. In John 1:4, the apostle John said:In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness overcame it not.In the last prayer of Christ, he prayed for God to become one with them that Yahweh had given him. John 17 When Christ told his disciples in Matthew 5:14 that they would now be the light of the world in his place, he was fulfilling the prophecy found in Isaiah 1:60: 1-3, 12.Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the Earth, and gross darkness the peoples, but the Lord shall rise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Now, let's pause right there! All throughout scripture, it says that Christ is the Light, and that through him, WE ARE THE LIGHT, and that the darkness cannot overcome this light. When we surround the Cross and form a cross with our bodies, we are taking on the responsibility of passing on the light. How can the world be growing so dark? Why do so many Christians sit in church holding cookie bake sales while darkness engulfs the world? Did not even Christ make a whip and drive out the moneychangers? Matthew 21:12-13, Mark 11:15-17. Let me remind you that these men were simply selling doves in the house of Yahweh.Some well meaning Christians might point out Matthew 5:38-39, where Christ says to turn the other cheek when someone smites you. This advice was given to the disciples as individuals, to teach them true brotherhood, and not to entire Nations! These disciples were responsible for spreading the gospel, and if they had declared war on everyone who met them with hostility, they would have been smitten before the gospel ever had a chance to become known. If Christ had meant this advice for Nations, then he would want us all to lie down and allow evil to conquer the entire world. This is not so. If we were to take every word from the mouth of Christ, and make a religious doctrine from it, then we would require everyone to sit in the grass at church, because Christ commanded this of the multitudes when he prepared to feed them. Matthew 14:19, Mark 6:39.

Scripture has to be taken as a whole, just like the teachings of Christ must be taken in their entirety. Pacifism is NOT a Biblical doctrine. Just because Christ wanted his disciples to stick to their job of spreading the gospel instead of arguing with unbelievers, it does not mean that we must stand there and watch our wives being raped or our children being molested. Throughout the Old Testament Israel was commanded to make war with evil Nations. See Jeremiah 51:20Thou art my battle-axe and weapons of war: and with thee will I break in pieces the Nations; and with thee will I destroy kingdoms. See also Deut. Chapter 7, and Judges chapter 7.

Now don't get me wrong here. I do not advocate violence as a solution to the troubles, which now face the children of Yahweh. We are in the same boat as the disciples, but the Gospel has been taught worldwide. This Nation was founded upon it. But as Klansmen, we must verbally and politically attack the enemies of our God and Jesus Christ. Christ himself will make war with these elements. See Revelation 19:11. But there can never be peaceful coexistence between good and evil.

So, exactly what does it mean to be a Klansman? We are the Watchmen of God and Christ. We do what is necessary to defend the children of Yahweh, and we blow the trumpet when the enemy is near. Yes, we light crosses, and surround them, to remind us that we are a reflection of Christ and his light. Yahweh told Ezekiel Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their borders, and set him for their watchman; If, when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people, then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning, if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned, if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his inequity, but his blood will I require at the Watchmans hand.

We, as Klansmen, are to represent the light of Christ in this dark world, as well as the Watchmen of his chosen people. Far too many people worship Jesus the man instead of Christ the spirit. The fire of the Cross represents this spirit. Every time the Christ spirit manifested itself to man in the older scriptures, it appeared in fire. It appeared to Moses in the burning bush Exodus 3:2. It killed sinners with fire in Leviticus 10:2. It answered King David through fire in 1 Chronicles 21:26. Scripture says that the Lord will come with fire Isaiah 66:15 and it says to glorify the Lord in the fires Isaiah 66:15.

The primary duty of a Klansman is twofold! We must watch over God's people and warn them, but we must also manifest the love of Christ and promote true brotherhood among them. How many who wear their robes on television and on courthouse steps, do you see doing this? As a result of the public representation of our sacred Order by Godless men, the world today cannot see the difference between the tenets of the true Ku Klux Klan and it's current imperfect embodiment. Such people only see the shortcomings of the vehicle. Like the Pharisees and Sadduccees of old, they throw stones at an association that tries to work up to it's ideals with the most tremendous odds against it. We have taken on a task which other systems have attempted and failed miserably. Fair minded people ought to remind themselves that the man who does all he can, does as much as the man who achieves the most, in this world of relative possibilities. This axiom is supported in scripture by the parable of the talents given by their Master. The servant who doubled his two talents was rewarded as much as that other fellow servant who had received five. To every man it is given according to his several ability.

The truth is that being a true Klansman is not something that can be attained by signing an application or wearing a robe. It is something that grows inside a man, and something that is built inside himself. Look at the motto of the Ku Klux Klan! NON SILBA SED ANTHAR . NOT FOR SELF BUT FOR OTHERS! What every Klansman needs first is to find himself and to take an honest inventory of his subjective and spiritual possessions. No matter how bankrupt of these possessions he may be, he is not beyond redemption if he sets about it in earnest. The symbols of the Klan, which are sacred to the Klansman, are tools for building the needed spirit. First and foremost is the Holy Bible. This tool enables him to build strength and spirit for the task at hand. Then there is the sword, to remind him that this is a real battle, for the physical and spiritual survival of God's people. Then, the Cross, which reminds us that Christ is the light of the world and we should strive to be representatives of this light. The Flag, which reminds us of the price paid by our ancestors, so that God's children could have a safe and prosperous land of freedom to dwell in. The Water represents the purity of life and washes us clean through baptism. The robe and hood, which should only be worn in private, sacred ceremonies, are used to humble the Klansmen, making each the same as their brother beside them. Klancraft is designed to uplift us in spirit, and not in body.

The world has been deceived about the Klan long enough. Let us put away our worldly idols and go to work for others. For every flower of love and charity planted in our brethrens garden, a loathsome weed will disappear from our own. This is how the garden of Yahweh (The TRUE ISRAEL) shall blossom as a rose. This is NOT a new revelation! Let every Klansman be a revelation unto himself. Let his spirit, and the spirit of Christ take possession of the temple of his body and drive out the money changers, as well as other unclean things. His own divine humanity will redeem him.

As long as the Klansman strives to uphold these sacred principles, then the hate of the world, and even that of the white race which he strives to defend, does not bother him. Let them hate us! We love their children and will endure their hate. They call us a hate group, while they throw stones at us for trying to preserve their God-given rights .A title held by a Klansman is only as meaningful as he himself makes it. As the Imperial Wizard of the Traditional Knights, my responsibility is the spiritual uplifting of my brethren. No man can uplift the spirit of another, but he can point the way. It is the spirit of Christ, through his Gospel that uplifts the Klansman. It is spirit and sacredness of Klankraft and the practice of true Klannishness that makes him fit for our Order. This was the true purpose of the Ku Klux Klan. This is the Invisible Empire that is built within ourselves.

The Ku Klux Klan receives much criticism because people say that we burn crosses, when nothing could be further from the truth. The media is largely responsible for this lie, and I will explain how so. It usually works like this:







Everyone knows that the fiery cross is Klan related, although few know the significance of this symbol to the Klan. When you see newspaper articles about a cross being burned in someone&s yard, the editors will say that some local Klan is being investigated. Then, when the investigation is complete, and the guilty party is apprehended, the media will not print an article reporting that it turned out to be some angry drunk teenager or redneck and not the Klan at all.







To a Klansman, the fiery cross is the most sacred of symbols, and to desecrate this symbol is a serious violation of our Laws. The fiery Cross originates back to the Christian Roman Emperor, Constantine. He had a vision on the eve of Battle with a fiery cross and the words With this sign ye shall conquer. He used the symbol of the fiery cross on his shield and was victorious in battle.







Every time that God appeared to man in scripture, he appeared in fire. God is described as a consuming fire in Deuteronomy 4:24 and Hebrews 12:29. God spoke to Moses through a burning bush in Exodus 3, and came down as a pillar of fire in Exodus 14. God is symbolized with fire in Genesis 19:24-25, Leviticus 10, 2nd Kings 2, Chronicles 7, and 1st Kings 18. In fact, because God appeared to man through fire, the ancient Indo Aryans were fire worshippers (See Albert Pikes Irano-Aryan, Faith and Doctrine as contained in the Zend Avesta.)







In 1989, thirty fraternity members from the university of San Diego were caught burning a cross in a Nature Preserve by a Park Ranger. They were performing a ceremony where each pledge would write his sins on a piece of paper and burn the paper in the fire of the cross. This was based on Constantines vision, and from the Aryan Spaniard Christian Ascetics who performed the same ceremony. Although none of them were Klan affiliated, and there were no racial motives involved in their actions, they were put on probation by Campus authorities for Racism.







Klansmen light crosses in private ceremonies, and they surround the fiery cross, forming their bodies into a cross to represent the fact that Christ is the light of our dark world, and that we represent that light. The cross is wrapped in burlap and the wrapping burns, NOT the cross. For this reason, any true Klansman is offended by the term Cross Burning because we may light crosses, but we certainly do not burn them.







Anyone who questions that the fiery cross is indeed a Christian symbol need look no further than your local Methodist Church. The symbol for the Methodist Church is a fiery cross. In fact, Col. Simmons introduced this symbol into Klan ceremonies in 1915 when he revived the Klan after its disbandment in the 1800s. Col. Simmons was a former Methodist circuit Minister.







Any person claiming to be a Klansman who burns a cross for intimidation or for any other purposes besides the methods described above should be considered a fake and a liar. Remember, any fool can buy a Klan robe on the Internet, and even any group of fools, but this does not make them true Klansmen.
